Synopsis

Eden Palace, international women's bodybuilding competition, 48 hours before the final. Lea Pearl is about to compete for the first time for the prestigious title of Miss Heaven, and thus devote years of work. Al, her mentor, himself a former bodybuilding star, jealously watches over her, hoping that thanks to her Pearl he will return to the forefront. But a few hours before the final, Lea sees the shadows of the past reappearing. Ben, her ex-husband, arrives at Eden Palace with their son Joseph, whom she hasn't seen in four years .... Elsa Amiel might not be the first director to evalute power relationships through muscle on the big screen, but she does so with a unique feminist twist and an outstanding sense for the fethestic quality of the game and the images. Julia Föry as the lead is mind-blowing - and screen legend Peter Mullan truely symoblizes dying machoism as her trainer.
